A global ministry reaching the nations needs a site that loads anywhere, in any language, on any connection.
Challenge
Ministry sites have to do five jobs at once — preach, gather, give, schedule, and translate. The old site did one of those, slowly. Donations were a separate platform, the sermon archive lived on YouTube without context, and visitors on slow connections in other countries couldn't load the home page at all.
Approach
One site, all five jobs, fast everywhere. We built a clean editorial site around the sermon archive, with donation flows native to the site (not redirected to a third-party). Pages are aggressively optimized — the home page is under a megabyte and renders inside two seconds on a 3G connection. Translation hooks are wired so content can be served per region.
The Build
Custom WordPress with a donation processor wired directly into the page (not a third-party iframe). Sermon archive with proper VideoObject schema. Aggressive image and font optimization for global low-bandwidth audiences. Multilingual-ready content architecture. Managed cPanel hosting with daily backups — because losing a donations platform is losing trust.
What changed.
Home page loads under 2 seconds on a 3G connection — works in countries we serve, not just where we are.
Donations happen on-site, not on a third-party redirect — fewer drop-offs, more confirmations.
Archive with proper schema — Google indexes individual messages, not just the home page.
Daily backups and security scanning — the giving flow never disappears.
